The DERMASENCE Chemical Peel Concept
The DERMASENCE Peeling Care Products
Note: If peeling is done during the sunny season, consistent UV protection must be applied. Direct sunlight should be avoided.
Post Peel Care
Directly after the peeling, the care is changed so that we promote:
Regeneration
Healing mechanisms
Skin renewal
Reducing redness
Lessen skin discomfort
For this purpose, we focus on the DERMASENCE BarrioPro Barrier-building facial emulsion for 2-5 days. This promotes cell communication and regeneration. It is effective against reddening and discomfort. During the day, it is ideally combined with a sunscreen, such as DERMASENCE Solvinea Med SPF 50+. This can also be recommended for problematic, demanding skin, as well as blemished, oily and acne or rosacea-prone skin. Afterwards, the peeling cycle starts all over again and the preparation for the next peeling begins.
What Else Needs to Be Considered ?
In summary, it can be said that a successful peeling treatment depends on many factors. In order to constantly evoke these factors, we have created a checklist for you, which you can go through (in your head) with every treatment.
• Have I been fully informed?/Have I gone through the anamnesis sheet/Peel patient information?
• Can all contraindications be excluded?
• Are the expectations realistic?
• Can I trust my patients with the treatment and also the pre- and post-treatment? Keyword sun protection
• Is the peeling setting (proportion of glycolic and salicylic acid) suitable for the indication? Have I checked the colour components?
